Where to buy tickets for Hatton when they are released

Where have people bought tickets for the American fights for in the past?

I have been searching about and flights/accomodation is quite reasonable for the Hatton-Mayweather trip but how do we get tickets?

Will they be posted from USA to UK, do we just collect at box office? Would hate to get all booked up then not be able to get hands on a ticket!

By far the cheapest way is to buy tickets from the venue hosting the fight. Dead easy on the net or the phone as long as you have a credit card.

If you do it through the net, you can even pick your seat out.

Only slight downside is that they wont post tickets from America and you have to collect from venue when you arrive or on fight night.

We had no problems doing that for Castillo fight.

The tickets were about £40 each less than what people were paying over here for them.

Also works out cheaper booking your own flights and hotels independently.

Obviously if you don't have the time do do it, you can use the official packages or those who advertise in BN but you'll obviously pay more because the agents have a living to make.

Yep, Venue is the best place, no problem with picking it up from the Casino, get them to email you your confirmation after the phone call.

Actually Thomas & Mack is 19,000, MGM is 17,000 & Mandalay is 12,000.

I'm would have thought that Thomas & Mack would be more likely as i don't think Mayweather v Hatton is going to work as a lure to high rollers who aren't boxing fans. Most of the spectators will be from the UK & are going to spending lots to just get there not to gamble. Drunken Mancs in tracksuits are probably not the profile target for the high stakes poker tables.

You won't get Ticketmaster or the box office to send tickets internationally as they can't security check foreign credit cards. That's why you have to present the card used to collect them.

Thomas and Mack is booked up for a rodeo on dec 8 so if the fight is LAS Vegas it will have to be one of the other two arenas

There was a suggestion in one of the papers this morning that LA is now a possible venue. Vegas doesn't really need a fight that weekend anyhow because of rodeo week.

LA is a tip, but there are some great places about an hour from there like Santa Monica.

Great point Shirow about Hatton-Mayweather not being a high rollers fight. The bars did okay at Hatton-Castillo but not the tables. I saw a few casinos where people couldn't get to the bar to play poker machines because of pissed up fans. The casinos want you at the tables not at the bar or in your room sleeping off a hangover.

That would be something special. The atmosphere in there for Lewis-Holyfield 1 was amazing.
