Any win will do???

Post by stujones »

Posted this on the Witter vs Pinto thread, but it got passed by. I would appreciate some opinion on it.

Do you guys think a Witter win will impress Larkin regardless of how he fights... I mean do you think he'll force Larkin to take note even if he wins ala Jones on the Weekend (incidently just seen that fight for a second time and I've now scored it 116-112 Jones).

Surely he'll have to take note, I mean if he gets this belt he'll have to fight Judah or someone else for the belt proper if Zab vacates. Do you think the manner of the victory is important now (as it has been in the past) or do you think any win against Pinto will force Showtime to take note given whats at stake.

I think it's important HOW he performs against Pinto. He needs to win of course, but needs to look good in the process. Witter stunk the joint out against Judah and Haeck (though took the Judah fight at late notice, and injured his hand against Haeck) and really does need to show his sublime box-fighting skills once and for all. It's up to him now.

I can't believe how Witter has to take the hard fights whilst Hatton gets ppl made for him. Pinto is better than anyone Hatton has faced.
