Nah, boxing's dead down here. Had they built that supercasino at the millenium dome which was planned as far back as 2004, things could have been very different, but dour-faced presbyterian cockmuncher Brown has put paid to all that.

Apparently we aren't adult enough to decide for ourselves whether we would like to gamble en-masse, we need to be told that it's too dangerous for us.

I'm not even a gambler, but It's fun to hang out in glitzy places which are paid for by other people who choose to gamble.

Your getting billions for the fkking Olympics, and a national stadium that cost three times the budget.

What do you want jam on it.

Honestly you landanas.

More like primalandanas.

Give Manchester - Blackpool a break. they need the 'slots'.

Have a word with yourself, Jimbo.

London gets more than its fair share of everything, in my experience.

Except for boxing........there's never any big fights down this way any more, unless you count the lumbering heavyweights.

I'm not complaining, sure, we've got most of the good shit down here, it's just I wished I lived further north for the boxing.

Yeah, but they ain't getting them either.

Gordon Brown has now decided that there will be no supercasinos whatsoever. Wanka.

What a curmudgeon you are KO, getting the olympics is absolutely fantastic, I'm over the moon about it. Let's hope they make a good job of it, I can't wait.

My mate is doing the TEMPORARY electrics for the building site cabins and tools on site.

He's being FORCED to invoice the 'Olympics' for consultancy time when he attends site meetings.

He says they're putting a brave face but they're miles off the original budget, with more uncomfortable news yet to be released.

What's the uncomfortable news? That we won't win any medals? We know that already.

I think young Swifty Smith has a chance.

The uncomfortable news is, the over-spend is being released in dribs and drabs to manage the public's anger.

Good news for ya (and me) James McDonnell. Hatton's lawyer Gareth Williams has said that he wants there to be a press tour going through Mani, LONDON, ny, and la! its a video interview on the bbc boxing web site.

David Payne is right the boxing scene in these 'ere parts leaves a lot to be desired!!

There will defo be a tour in USA as it is PPV but the fight annoucement also mentions a global tour.

I reckon it could do 300-350,000 buys in this country.

I'm not sure it will do near that, to be honest. Britain just isn't a mature PPV market at all and its also a much smaller market than the US. But a two hundred thousand at 20 quid a go would bring in over 4,000,000 dollars.

This fight will do massive PPV numbers in this country, I'm sure GBP will really hype it up and Hatton and Mayweather will play their part in making sure that its really hyped up.
