I can't visualize a clear cut obvious winner, but I do have visions of two freight trains crashing into each other...

Great Topic and a very good question.
Both joe and Rocky has amazing chin and heart, lets not let the foreman mathes detracted from the fact that Joe Had an iron CHin, after all, to my knowledge no one got up from so many foreman shots.
Both where come forward pressure fighters with excellant power at the highest level, however joe relied more on his left for the knockouts.
Speed i would say that joe was the faster one out of the two, but i feel that this would not really come into play as the differance was minimal.
One factor of this match could be that Frazier was a slow starter and this could be decisive, and also i feel people may overrate Joe simply because of his lopsided win over ali.
However i have faith that he would start off well and be the most effective in this slugfest,

What a fight this would be!... I'd give Frazier the edge in speed ....I think he'd get his punches home faster and this could be crucial.... both could be floored early and I see this as being a thriller with knockdowns on both sides ....Frazier winning by late rounds ko or stoppage round about the 12th round.
