Was impressed with what he did with Forrest the other night. Vernon looked back to his best and it showed up just how frickin safety first Mayweather is. He never dominated Baldo anywhere near as impressively as that.Carbo wrote:Buddy McGirt has come onboard as one of the trainers. That's a big, big bonus.

Codrington got the big build up as one half of the NY 'Chin Checkers' but I dont know if it was all hype and bluster or not.. I am inclined to think maybe it was just hype.WayoftheCass wrote:If Codrington is half of what he was once thought to be then he should win this easy.![]()
Most recognizable line-up so far.
Soliman is the most accomplished and is super fit but will his herky jerky style win favour with the judges over a short contest?
Some real decent names amongst the cast list - c'mon Smigga - bring the crown home!

Was just going to say Bika could spring a few surprises, but I guess the fact the bouts wil only be five-rounds doesn't suit him very well. Bika may need to take time to get started & I guess you can't really afford to do that with only five rounds.stujones wrote:Some very good fighters there. Bika might struggle in a 5 rounder. Banks is a decent bet IMO.
He'll give anyone on the list a run for their money. Can't see him KO/TKO'd though.

Bika, is a quality operator and will probably win this, however, I also have concerns about his ability to operate over 5 roundsRocky Balboa wrote:Was just going to say Bika could spring a few surprises, but I guess the fact the bouts wil only be five-rounds doesn't suit him very well.
