i haven't got widescreen.

prefer the usual size, plus widescreens are expensive.

but i've got borders and it always annoys me.

I just looked at the current board. This fight is already well under way apparently. Didn't realize that Setanta had it on a time delay. That sucks big time. Bloody amateurs.

changing aspect ratio doesn't make any difference.

Manc_red - the Cotto and Hatton fights were fine with me but this is different. It looks like every SS program is in widescreen now so when an event is full screen, the full screen happens WITHIN the widescreen.
I changed the resolution on my screen in the setup and it looks better.

Diaz is just a limited brawler really isn't he. First time I've seen him. If Morales was 5 years younger it would be over already.

I honestly think Morales is sweeping every round here. He can't miss Diaz. How the hell did Diaz become a world champion? :-?

Stamina might catch up with Morales. He doesn't look in great shape. Shame as if he was he would have killed this guy.

Diaz has cheated his ass off in this fight. He keeps on hitting and holding and leading with the head. Ref seems oblivious to it. I honestly can't remember seeing so much uncontested hitting and holding in a title fight.

Maybe not shocking but 7-5 with a KD for me gives you a comfortable 3 point win. Wasn't impressed by Diaz. I thought he was a dirty little git who benefited from being the local boy. I feel sorry for Eric. If that is anywhere but Diaz's home town its a win for Morales.

looks like it was a ten min or m ore delay. It seemed the ring walks and anthems were edited out of the way quickly.

This border thing is pissing me off. It's ok if you like bastard football - these are all nice widescreen.

Setanta badly need to fix this. They've secured all these fights and it's like watching from a little portable TV.

Had it 7-5 or Morales or 6-6 draw. I didn't give R1 as a 2 pointer to Morales because he was losing before the KD. Maybe the judges edited their scorecard after watching Morales taking a pasting in R12

Never got a chance to try it last night as I canceled Setanta after they showed Hatton-Castillo and nerver announced other fights. Tried to re-order last night and it was a palava so I'll wait until Morris-Simpson.
doesn't work for me - adjusting the box or the aspect raio on the tv. it's apparently been confirmed as some kind of widespread technical error that was supposed to have been fixed around last friday

As i mentioned in a previous thread Diaz is pretty poor, he was getting outboxed by Jose Armando Santa Cruz when he landed a big punch. He won't go too far.

Morales won the fight for me, but is definately a faded fighter. I would like Marco to have a go at Diaz next time... think he would do him easily.

I was reading the official score card on Fightnews and I have a query. Doesn't the champion ALWAYS have the score on the left hand column... This time Morales was in the left hand column, most odd. Have to say, it appears Diaz had every break in the scoring. Only 1 judge scored the opener 10-8 Morales, yet one judge gave the second 10-8 Diaz.
