Rankings

Post by Chauncy »

Anton. Just a quick question.
I know you have no power at all over the rankings, but how does Daniel Tai, who losses his last fight to Richard Tutaki be ranked over Tutaki on the rankings, essecially after Tutaki hasn't lost a fight since, and actually won another last night, to where Tai hasn't even fought, or planned to fight since?
You like to investigate everything Anton, figure that one out. :-?

Tutaki's recent MD over a much lower-ranked Alex Mene suggests a very disappointing performance. Therefore, Tutaki lost rating points.

Probably has to do with their overall records. What the hell was a national champion doing in a 4 rounder anyway?

As both are barely in the top 3oo in the world, I doubt that it will have much bearing on the heavyweight picture in any case.

Sorry Chauncy, I haven't an answer as I haven't given rankings much attention.

I helped create and test portions of the ratings code. My answer is the correct one :).

In a normal world it would make sense that Tutaki was ranked above Tai given he had just beaten him?
