I saw Bowen get stopped by Carl The Truth Williams and also get his butt kicked in a couple of those UFC matches. Not a special fighter, really. If I may ask, why so curious about him?

I saw Bowen in the amateurs and about a dozen of his pro fights. He used to spar with my fighter (Robert Daniels). Bowen was strong and willing but he never went beyond the good prospect to journeyman level. He also fought in some tough man contests and had a half brother -Ian Ford- who fought as a lightweight. Joe Hernandez, who managed him, was cautious early in his career and brought him to a winning record.

he fought one mma match and really got beatdown by steve jennum in ufc4' before the fight the commentaters made bowen sound like some kind of badass i just wanted to know how good he realy was

Not really a badass at all. I have seen him fight UFC and lose big time because he simply couldn't puch once he was taken down to the mat.

I also saw him getting KO'd by Shannon Briggs a few years ago in under a minute.
