Advice and help on buying tickets for US Boxing.

Post by Boxingnut »

I am fortunate enough to be going to Vegas in mid September and I would love to go to the Marquez - Juarez card.

Am I better buying my tickets now from an online agency like ticketmaster.com or risk leaving it until when I get over there and buy from the MGM grand itself?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I have never been to Vegas before and am probably only going to go once in my lifetime so I want to get it right.

Thanks in advance.

Boxingnut. I have been to loads of fights in Vegas, both of the the options you suggest are sound, but for someone like yourself, assuming you have a credit card, who hasn't been there before, I would do via Ticketmaster. It will cost you a few dollars more in booking charges but you will get an email confirmation with your ticket reference which is legally binding when you go and collect (its called WillCall). You will have a great time.

Any more Qs feel free to PM me.

Thanks for all the replies. Loynesy has advised me that you can book with ticketmaster, select an option "will call" and then pick your ticket up when you get there so I am favouring that option at the moment.

It probably won't sell out but for all I know it could be a Mexican national holiday and all the tickets might be snapped up by visiting Mexicans so I am a bit reluctant to take the chance of buying when I get there.
