Macca Vs Swaby

Post by Max Molyneux »

Did anyone read Claude Abrams fighting talk article with Enzo mentioning he was drunk the night before he was Ko'ed by Swaby?

Was Bruce Scott a puncher too or did he get Macca with the same shot Mac Ko'ed Hobson with too?

Bruce Scott can punch, but was beaten all over the shop by Johnny Nelson and destroyed by Juan Carlos Gomez.

Scott hit Enzo with a sweeping left hook that hit the side of his head and flattened him. It came back and KO'd him with a frightening shot in the 4th - a very exciting fight.

Scott did have Mark Hobson briefly hurt as well.

swaby was all over enzo throughout the fight, it wasnt just a one punch knockout out of the blue.

swaby was his usual slippery self and his greater experience gave him the edge.

enzo can make all the excuses he wants, but he was simply beaten by the better man on the night.

Bruce Scott also survived some big shots to come back and stop Darren Corbett

I like big Enzo, a great guy - I think the loss probably did him a lot of good.

The word on Enzo's early days is pretty unanimous that he was a delinquent in his later teenage years. He partied late into the night and caused all sorts of ruckus, he may well have been drunk the night before Swaby, and was certainly not prepared for the fight.

It's very similar to Paul Briggs' early loss against Larl Zada, an experience which sets a talented but undisciplined fighter straight early in their career.
