Your man Kell Brook is due to fight in a six-rounder on the undercard.

Tom Podmore.

And no doubt it will be December in London for Khan (o2 or Exel arena) with Williams-Skelton 3 on the same card. I'm trembling with excitement at the prospect!

At least the way looks clear enough. beat Lawton (who beat Bull & lost to Thaxton). Beat Earl, a former British lightweight champ who's on the slide (& on the undercard of Khan-Lawton). Go for Thaxton, who with injuries and age and a tough long career with have difficulties when Khan matures.

(Then when he's at his peak, pray to whomever that Rees is still WBA light welter champ. Because we all know that Khan is really a light welter.)

Thing is, Thaxton probably won't hang around. He could well go for Romanov, the European champ after his next outing, Dave Stewart, in October.

Maybe it'll end up Khan vs Murray for the vacant title.
