Isn't Cleverly a Maths buff or something? I was interested by his progression and his recent KO of Ayitteh Powers made me sit up and take even more notice.

No worries fella. Don't get me wrong, I'm also a fan, just don't want to see too much weight placed on his shoulders through people's expectations yet :TU:

yes hes doing his re-sits and has one year to go, hes got one hell of a brain on him, when he boxed powers he burned him out, powers went, to the canvas, powers looked into his corner with the look ive got nothing left he stayed there till then count ended, then got up and went to his corner, totaly knackered, everybody though powers would win, cleverley litterly took every round on points, a win well deserved.

one thing i like about nathan cleverly, it hasnt gone to his head, and hes one of the most polite people ive ever met, if you do something for him he will go out of his way to thank you, and with the kids you cant fault him, hes my sons protege, my son looks up to him, i done the door at the great britian junior amateur championships in july, we had a boxer competing, and it was a great 2 days, he even took the time to come and watch our boxer fight, and wind him down after, great to see hes got other fans.

I'm working in Newport and some bloke was raving on about him the other week.

Has anyone got any footage of him against Powers that I can download? I'd really to see this.

Maybe with his Einstein like brain he could sort his website out - the current one is a bit pants. ;-)

Is Cleverley Enzo Mac's Cousin?, or is that someone else.

From some of the ITV segments from Newbridge I have seen Enzo Mac's cousin training in the Gym. I saw him in the WABA's this year... He could go far.

Have I got the same fella?

I was saw a sign in a hotel for a meeting and one of the delegates was called Gordon Shauers, I couldn't stop laughing, and had to resist the temptation to replace the 'R ' with an 'L.'

"Richard Nutter", was the call that came over the tanny in the doctor's waiting room.

I have to admit it made me chuckle.

I like to think that his mates call him Dick.
