I'm very surprised how quiet it has been around here, since Esham confirmed he was leaving Wincobank.
Views anyone ?

All good things come to an end. I can't see him doing any better anywhere else but sometimes you need a change to freshen things up.

He's moving back to Newark.
The reason I raised it is that as you all know Ryan Rhodes is a good mate.
He got slaughtered around the boards when he moved on.
There's always a story to a departure like this and no doubt the truth will out one day.
My concern is for Wincobank generally.
The gym is steaped in boxing history for me, and I will never hear a bad word said.
However, who is left there now ?
Are future talents being nurtured ?
I sincerely hope so.

Sounds like a bit of a strange move, the timing is odd. I could understand if it was immediately post Dunne. However, after a decent win (and performance) over Callaghan... A bit odd.

Wouldnt say he had brilliant performance againts Callaghan, more like Callaghan had a poor, below performance. Callaghan looked like he was sleep walking in that fight so dont really think Pickering can look at the fight to decide the choices he makes

He's moved to Carl Greaves Boxing Academy.
