Dunne would dismantle him.

Don't let the Kiko result fool you, I reckon Kiko would do something similar to Hunter.

I don't think Hunter has the punch to trouble Dunne and I think Dunne is the better boxer all round.

I think as far as Dunne goes, he's a leve above Euro but a level below World. Hunter I think is around about Euro level.

Hunter would of dimolished Kiko, Dunne has been found out, didnt take long, a 21 year old spainiard with a more padded record than one of "stacy goodsons "fighters

This is the same Hunter that was knocked down then knocked out by a feather fisted Steve Molitor and down twice against Pickering?

You really think that Hunter holds up against a guy who has knocked out 52 of his 57 opponents. You think Hunter can avoid Martinez detonating for 12 rounds? Not with his style. Hunter would mix it up and pay.

I really can't understand this love affair with Hunter. Yes, he's good to watch but he has a level that he will go no further than. He hasn't got the best chin, hasn't got much power and just seems to win by outworking a lot of his opponents. Martinez KO's him within 5, Dunne outpoints him.

Dunne wins this one on points or possibly mid-round TKO. Never rated Hunter at all.

Be a good fight while it lasted, neither are the most durable. I think Dunne is the more skilled, but if Hunter can take his shots then Michael might be able to outwork him in the end.

However, I think Dunne would just be too quick for Hunter and stop him at around the 5th round. Its a bit early too be hailing Martinez as the saviour of boxing... although he did look good, whether he'll be able to repeat that performance is a different matter. However, Dunne has shown himself to be a proven European level operator be outclassing Pickering over 36 minutes... Hunter and Pickering fought on pretty much even terms throughout their 36 minutes, and I think thats the difference.

i'd just like to remind people who questions Dunne's 'durability' after being knocked by a HUGE puncher: Joe Frazier himself was blitzed in 2 by George Foreman...

Hunter would at least keep his hands up against Martinez.

Dunne is known for being a cocky fighter at the best of times, i think this may be the best thing that has ever happened him. He nearly got found out in that last round of his fight a few months back against that Ukrainan when he dropped his hands and showboated. I think he now knows its time to sink or swim and cut the bullshit.
As for Hunter I think Dunne would handle him easily, it be a good first fight back if they dont go after Martinez first.

Dunne v Hunter would be an excellent match now.

I would favour Dunne to gain a handy points win but Hunter would bring the fight to him as only he can.

Lets hope we see it!
