The Aussie who will help Mayweather beat Hatton...

Post by Marlin »

Lovemore Ndou!!!

Ndou is going to be Floyd Mayweather's chief sparring partner in the lead up to his clash with Ricky Hatton.

This is great news for Ndou, not only will he get to spar the worlds best boxer there is also a chance he could score a fight on the undercard!

Just found an article from the Telegraph:
next month Lovemore Ndou... takes up his new position as chief sparring partner for the world's best fighter, Floyd Mayweather Jr, as the flashy American prepares for his December mega-bout with Kostya Tszyu's conqueror Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas.

Ndou hopes to appear on the Hatton-Mayweather undercard if he cannot secure a rematch with New York's Paulie Malignagi, who took his world title in June.

I really don't think that PBF really needs any help to beat Hatton. Least of all Lovemore (look at moi, look at moi) Ndou

Why does this emind me of a Friar's Roast held for Sammy Davis Junior, where Muhammed Ali said that Davis was at his training camp before his first fight with Joe Frazier.

Ali said that he lost that fight because Davis's impression of Joe Frazier was so good that he went into the ring convinced that Frazier was 5'2" tall, 120 pounds and singing "What Kind of Fool am I?".

Well PBF may well make a better fighter out of N'dou. But then again when you listen to lovemore he is the greatest. This just pi55e5 me off is all. Lovemore loose some off the yanky attitood and start respecting your opponents again. You just may find that you find a nw lease of life.

Lol, I hadn't heard that one before. Not sure how it relates to Lovemore though?

He is roughly the same size as hatton (Ndou is 5'8" with 68" reach, Hatton 5'6" with 65"), he is a great fighter on the inside, tough, durable, relentless and strong.

This is great for Ndou and it certainly won't hurt Mayweather. I don't think anyone should begrudge this opportunity for Ndou.

yes i agree with lovemore being a bit humble.. in the lead up to the fight with paulie m he said something like "yeh he talks alot of trash but u expect that off a kid from brooklyn." coming from a man who had told legend kostya tszyu, who was only hinting at a comeback exibition etc to "fight me or shutup" on the front cover of world of boxing
