Darchinyan Vs Catubay in Sydney

Post by ryan711 »

Vic has signed to fight on October 20 against former Filipino flyweight champ Federico Catubay ,He should have an easier time against the tiny (5ft 2in) Catubay (20-13-3) who was stopped in three rounds by Darchinyan’s stablemate Hussein Hussein in 2005.they are saying it for the vacant IBO super flyweight title.

I hope Vic can come back strong. If he boxes like we all know he can , it can be very diifcult for anyone to beat the RAGING BULL!

Looks like Vic wants a real soft touch in his comeback fight...

Is this really for the IBO?

I just read on PhilBoxing.com that Catubay is already in training at Pacquio's gym, his manager has said that he has never really trained hard for a fight, it seems that this could be interesting. No one gave Nonito Donaire a chnace against Vic , and Donaire was training with Freddie Roach. Vic will need to bring his A GAME :box: to make his mark. GO VIC

^I hope the training makes a difference because he was very average when Hussy stopped him.

I guess nothing is a given in this sport but this is pretty close...
