Brutal fight. Morris badly cut again. Was down heavily and through the ropes in the 4th.
Simpson just crushed Morris in the seventh.

Excellent win for Simpson. It looks like he has added a bit of weight behind his punches now. However, Morris was very easy to hit there tonight. He punches and leaves his hands there too long whilst having an open defence and not tucking his chin in.

Dont want to take anything away from Simpson though, he seems to have matured nicely at this level.

My Setanta channel has packed in?!?!

I have blooming subscribed got an hour of the boxing and now saying "call to Subscribe" blue screen.

My picture was abysmal for the entire show, the sound was mostly okay though. Does it screw up a lot?

I had a similar problem with Setanta some weeks ago in that all my channels I get via my Sky dish worked fine, except Setanta 1 and 2.

Now, I live in Devon and it turns out I a) had an old-style Sky dish, b) Sky reception in Devon and Cornwall isn't great and c) Setanta broadcast towards at the edge of the frequencies old Sky dishes receive.

So, by having an old Sky dish I was limiting my chances of good reception! When I started having problems I rang Setanta who were no use really. After having a look on the internet I rang an aerial repair man and he said problems with Setanta were increasingly common in the southwest and the solution was to get a new, bigger Sky dish and that works fine.

I SAW THE FIGHT WITH ANDY MORRIS & JOHN SIMPSON I FORT SIMPSON LOOK GOOD. BUT MORRIS LOOK SHIT NO FOOTWORK & NO SHARP HANDS HE LUCKED LIKE A FIGHTER INSTEAD OF A BOXER MORRIS IS VERY GOOD ON HES FEET AND IS HANDS ARE FAST. (SHAME)

I phoned up Setanta today, and I cannot do a thing about it - cause I ordered the channels only 3:30 hours before the problem arised - had it been over 4 then I might have got some refund. They said it is common for it to do this while my order was being processed - Things is I had the boxing on for an hour, then it was off untill Bunce was saying "lets get it straight... Goodbye".

I just wish Setanta would replay the boxing in full, like Sky do for their Friday Night show. They obviously have repeat rights and at 1 am last night three of their channels were showing the same thing - NASN 2 - why not the boxing. Seems like a waste.

It seems like a lot of people have complained about the Setanta picture... I have had no problems with it and I live in the Sticks.

This time the picture wasn't quite as sharp as usual. But we have proper apsect ratio still.

Good fight. Arthur was totally biased commentating. I gave Morris some rounds. They made out it was one-sided when it was actually a fierce, good little battle.

I'm suprised to hear this result, I really thought it would be Morris exacting swift, brutal revenge after last time.

He was rather brutally beaten up. Both knockdown were very heavy and he was bleeding like a sieve.

Well done Simpson and I don't like hitting a man when he's down but Morris when he lost to him first time showed no respect, during or after the fight.

Going on about how he was a better fighter and Simpson was lucky. Err, well someone was clocking him with right hands which cut him so tough luck.

Simpson, I thought, looked the better fighter the first time round even if he wasn't expected to win and it would seem he has proved it conclusively in the rematch.

Good to see solid, technically sound, 'let their fists do the talking' fighters like Simpson and Colin Lynes doing well, proving you can come back a better fighter from a title defeat.

Arthur was biased, but hopefully he will learn not to be as he get more practise in the role. At least he was coherent (unlike Jacobs) and analysis wasn't too bad.

Thought he had potential, maybe a fight involving a Scot wasn't the best one to start with. At least he did admit his bias.

I don't think he is any worse than Johnny Nelson is for Junior Witter fights "Junior deals with fighters like Malignaggi every day in Sparring".

Rawling gave Morris rounds 3 and 6. That is not bias on his part. Alex was ok. Give him a chance.

I liked the presentation. Rawling was excellent and I thought it was a good debut behind the mic from Alex. Bunce was entertaining, as always. Setanta are starting to a great job. And, by the way, good fight. I was surprised to see Morris go down like that.

Bunce was better than normal for me (I just don't like his style sorry), still would like to see Richie Woodhall replace him.

Really surprised to see how nervous allegedly in his before the fight interview. Quite an unique idea, Frank seemed quite nervous.

Think Rawling and Arthur had a good chemistry there. Hope ITV use them in future.

It's not often that I'm shocked at the outcome of a fight but this one really surprised me. I thought Morris was much better than this.
But well done to Simpson, a great performance.

By the way, in today's MEN Bob Shannon says Morris will be staying at featherweight.

He also says Morris left it too late to bring the weight off.

Me too. I fully expected Morris to win back the title, but Simpson may have found his missing ingredient....a powerful punch. Ryan Barrett had no business challenging for a British title and maybe Morris should think about moving up a division, so I'd like to see Simpson defend against a rated contender to see if this new found power is for real.
