Don't despair guys, only for 2 weeks.

Sorry to start a thread announcing that I'm going on holiday but I'll miss you guys... :(

Off to the Dominican Republic on Sunday AM, can't wait, too cold here in Blighty. I will get to see Harrison-Medina before I set off but won't be able to share my oracle like thoughts with you all about it, shame...

Hope you all enjoy the forthcoming fights, and don't get this forum closed down for freaks sake, I've already noticed a few weird ones appearing, I think quite a few people are going to be coming out of the woodwork here over the next few weeks...

Good luck, might check in from an Internet cafe out there if I get my usual holiday luck with bad weather.

Funny you ask that though, I was thinking the other night, I can remember the very first time I ever heard of the Dominican Republic was when they shipped over Danilo Cabrera to fight Barry Mcuigan all those years ago. I was only 13/14 at the time and had never heard of the place. Now I'm going there.

I think the island does have a reasonable boxing community too although the only boxing I'll be doing out there is if the hotel only has American beer, can't stand the stuff!
