Does Gilbert Eastman really want it enough?

He loses to a slappy opponent last night, then walks out of the ring with a smile on his face. Strange. It reminded me of Howard's performance against Joppy.

Yea I agree bennie, Gilbert seemed slow in getting his punches off last night. It was a good atmosphere in there last night and all the sets of fans seemed to behave themselves. Froch was mightily impressive especially as some people were saying Page had a good chance.

Eastman was terrible. Montero barely landed a punch with the knuckle part of the glove, but still deserved the win due to Eastman doing next to nothing.

Apart from Froch and Daws, the rest of that bunch aren't anything special.....Corcoran was badly hurt in the first round and was almost out...the others were average.

What is with the Eastmans? They seem to fight in bursts, and walk through rounds or entire bouts in a lethargy.

Howard had only himself to blame for losing to Joppy, but at least he has the tools to win a World Title....good chin, good power. Gilbert hasn't got the chin, and thus needs to fight at his best. He did so well against Fearon and then loses to a guy that was the epitome of wild and crude.
