It's Not Just The Forum!!!

I don't want to drag this thing on, but it appears it's not just the British forum that had dissapeared. British Eastside, a section that many people have worked hard on over the last few months, has seemingly dissapeared. If this is permanent and is a result of the earlier rumours, then it is bang out of order. There are no grounds whatsoever that the British Eastside section should be pulled. The forum may have had one or two controversial moments now and again, but the British Eastside section was a place for articles, fight previews and fight reports to be submitted on shows from Sports Network, Matchroom, Hennessy Sports, Lion Promotions, SEM and Fight Academy ... everything was covered.

The forum closing down was sad and unfortunate, but closing a section of a website that is purely there to give fights and fighters hype is a disgrace. And if the person many think is the cause of this, has played his part in it's closure, I think it should be made public, and frowned upon.

The mother site here, Boxing-Central.com, may be looking for reporters, and you can certainly submit worthy news stories there. Why don't you check it out.

Would it not be good thing to set up a similar section at Central?

British Eastside pissed on my bonfire so I won't be shedding a tear because people backed the wrong horse. Spud, Elliott and Gav worked tremendously hard though and have demonstrated their qualities in different ways.

Dont give up. The suggestion about doing something similar at Boxing Central was a great idea. It gets a high volume of traffic so your work would be seen by many.

That's very bizzare news GITR, I'd like to hear their reasoning?

It wasn't libelous or a threat to any promoters, maybe the lawyers could threaten over scandalous rumours on the boards, but not fight reports?
