Glenn scored a great win over Patrick Lumumba to win the title. He then defended against Sisa Makhatini in a seriously underrated exciting fight.

He came back from a points deficit to KO the South African. I remember watching it in a small TV in my room as a schoolkid.

I was having a piss recently at a boxing show and Glenn came in. I asked him how elder brother Gary was, twice stopped by James Oyebola in the amateurs, and he told me Gary was fit and well.
Shortly afterwards, James got killed of course.

Glen would have won a lot more world title fights if he was in today's cruiser division. Even though it's got loads more quality fighters, McCrory would have done very well with ten extra pounds. He could definitely fight & could have been very marketable.

Didn't know that he was an actor, with parts in Our Friends in the North, Quayside and Casualty. I always like seeing boxers in acting roles.
