Hatton/Mayweather - A complete disgrace!!!
Hatton/Mayweather - A complete disgrace!!!
Whatever boxing site you go on ... the google adverts or some sites have even got others paying for adverts of travel agencies or ticket agencies selling tickets or packages at highly inflated prices.
Whilst I fully realise money makes the world go round - and whilst I fully realise there would always be some tickets going onto the black market it is a complete disgrace the thousands of fantastic Hatton fans are being exploited in such a way.
People know there are thousands of fans going to be in Vegas without tickets - yet sites and agencies are popping up with tickets being sold at astronomical prices.
We all have opinions on who is to blame - but why oh why wasn't the distirbution of tickets and the quota for Hatton fans sorted before the contracts were signed.
The whole fiasco is a complete disgrace - and it is also very sad business indeed.
People desperate for tickets - agencies and touts desperate to put the prices up even further.

Am i the only person who couldn't give a f*ck about Led Zepp, or in fact Pink Floyd.
As for the ticket prices , seems about what i thought it was going to be, its one of the premier fights of the year as far as publicity goes. So your always going to pay through the nose for it.
Same as big concerts, festivals and other big sporting events.

Part of the problem is that big boxing matches always have to be held in Vegas casinos with sub-20,000 capacities.
OK, so maybe Wembley was always going to be wishful thinking, but come on, there are proper stadiums in America. Most major universities have sports arenas with capacities of up to 70,000 in some instances.
Why do the casinos have to dictate everything? Do the casinos' bids plus 15,000 (or less) legitimately paying punters in Vegas really equal greater income than 70,000 punters which they clearly could have got for this fight in a different arena?

I'd be made up If Hatton kills Floyd's ego but I think he's not winning this one.boxingchat wrote:As much as I hate to say it, I think that Fat kids got a shout. But I hope you are right but would prefer the Gatti treatment!Max Molyneux wrote:Someone actually paid 2 grand to see Hatton get the Lacy treatment?
If Hatton roughs up PBF and lays on his chest and let's um go he might get lucky.
