The Argentine Web-Site Al Borde del Ring has 68 professional bouts for Ringo. BoxRec has 67 with status Complete. Who's right, who's wrong?

Sorry, my query wasn't clearly specified. Didn't mean to criticize, just wondered if there's one bout missing in our record, and if there's someone who can tell what.
Anybody habla espagnol?

I had also noticed that i several sources have him at 58-9-1, whereas we have him at 57-9-1.

I think the missing bout is Oct 7th 1966 KO 5 vs Alberto Benassi.

The sources that have that extra bout have him beating Benassi twice in the same year, both times by KO in 5, (The second one on Nov 18th, thats the one we have)

I've sent an email to Argentine boxing historian and statistician Martin Cameron to see if he can confirm that it isnt a double entry.

I found a report that tells;
"Mar del Plata - In the heavy class Oscar "Ringo" Bonavena, defeated Alberto Benassi in five. Benassi hit the canvas three times.

Next report is; Mendoza - Niccolino Locche outpointed Omar Gottiffredi in 10. This bout is listed here 1966-10-07.

The listed Benassi win is at Rosario, Argetina, so this Mar del Plata bout must be the missing one.

The 68th bout of Ringo should be confirmed now?

The Ring, April 1967 reports;
Rosario - Heavyweight Oscar "Ringo" Bonavena won by a T.K.O. in the 5th over local champion Alberto Benassi.

This makes sence with the listed Nov. 18 bout.

Yes, that's what most records have: KO 5 on Oct 7th in Mar del Plata, and TKO 5 on Nov 18th in Rosario.

I still haven't gotten a response from Martin Cameron yet, but he should have the final word on it.

I have 68 fights in Bonavena's record. He fought Alberto Benassi on October 7, 1966 in Mar de Plata, November 18, 1966 in Rosario, and March 8, 1968 in La Rioja.
