Sky Sports ponces

Post by bennie »

And you guys think ITV are bad. The ponces at Sky Sports pull the plug on Hatton at his best.
He was taking Floyd to school and they deny us more.

C'mon, it was live lunch time TV and Hatton said: 'fu cking' and to Floyd: 'stop touching my d1ck you puff'.

Are you telling me Bennie that ITV would have let the live link continue??

Not a bit of it.

its a terrific word "ponce" conjours up the exact image of the twit youre aiming it at and you can say it with real venom. its definately P4P in there with FK as the best word in the language though perhaps not as versatile.

It was rediculous that Sky called Mayweather articulate.... and then saying "we've seen a new side to you" when intervieweing Hatton. Clearly the two doing the Sports News are not boxing fans.

They cut the Tyson vs Lewis Brawl short also.

i think we all know its literal meaning, terry, but such is its power that it can be used in a number of pejorative ways. FK is so brilliant it can be used as a term of affection eg "you silly fukr" but ponce is never nice. it is ugly and venomous and therefore wonderful.

You didnt 'kickstart' anything Bennie..

U were unwisely given a moderator position and abused it widely. Still, it seems your ego has yet to deflate despite years in the NHS wilderness. :o

Now that you are a stato for ITV I see that you are making jibes against Sky for what was a sensible course of action - when Hatton started swearing and using homophobic language they had no choice but to sensor it.

It is very rarely used correctly. Comes from poncing/begging money I think. A ponce is a leecher.

Phil Mitcell used it correctly when Grant's wife was asking him for money all the time. "She's a ponce". Classic.
A ponce is a pimp Terrence, to be more specific.

didnt even think about the smart arse aspect of your post terry. i like
"you f..king poncing cunnt". very good dig indeed. PIMP is too literal. it's too close to its literal meaning to have real power as an insult. PONCE is moving to a general perjorative usage. one can deny being a pimp but
"you long nosed ponce!!" gives the receiver a bit of deep thinking to do.
