His date of birth is February 19, 1932 and not as shown 1933-01-01. This was confirmed to my by Daan himself as well as his family.

Hi, chrisventer. Have you ever seen a complete list of all of Daan Bekker's amateur bouts? I would sure like to find a copy of them. Also of such South African amateurs of the 1950's like Len Leisching, Grant Webster, Theunis van Schalkwyk and Henry Loubscher. The 1950's were a great time for South African amateurs. Thanks, Bill
