Southerners speak too hyper.
Actually Southeners dont say fack - The U is pronounced differently in the the South - When a Northener tries to copy a Southener, he says Landon for London and bass for bus - Many many years ago when the F word was forbidden on TV there was a news report about a Chinese restuarant called the Wong Fook - Absolutely nobody in the South complained but viewers from the North and the Midlands blocked the switchboards - To Northeners the news reader had broken the code of practice by saying fornicate on live TV - In the south it didnt register with people as the word is pronounced f U ck - ITV apologised saying it was a problem that came about through the differences in regional dialect which is of course absolutely true - The word can sound as fack, fornicate, fook or even fock depending on where you live.
