Okay, I've done the preview...showcased their strengths and weaknesses...their recent form...their history. Now, you tell me. Who's going to win? Hatton or Tackie.

If Hatton wants to make a mark at world level at all, he must win this battle. There is a blue print firmly laid down how to beat Tackie: Jab, move, step off and don't allow him to settle.

This is not something Hatton can rely upon because of his aggresive style. Having said this, I see Hatton utilising his body attack and high work rate to edge out Tackie on points. Could well get wobbled on the way though...

The reason I'm asking, by the way, is because I'm not sure myself (obviously, in Manchester, I lean towards Hatton, but Tackie is the hardest puncher he's ever faced and the best opponent he's ever faced).

I think tackie only has a change of knocking out hatton in the first 3 rounds, after that i think tackie will give up and hatton will win on points, hope hatton wont cut but he pprobably will

Hatton on points with the odd scare on the way. Must watch out for big right hands though.

Hatton is going to win - definitely. Why? Because he isn't just a come forward brawler, he's a very good boxer with great footwork/balance.

I just hope he hasn't forgotten that.

Which is why this fight is an absolute corker.

If Tackie wins, it's a Knockout. (not necessarily an early one either in my opinion). And we just don't know how good Hattons chin is. I can't wait.

hatton can box and move when he wants to as Kilburn as already mentioned.

Hatton also knows he lost 23 rounds against Kosta and Mitchell so the game plan should be clear.

We can also assume should Hatton get dropped he will get more than 8 seconds to recover while the ref fusses about getting Tackie to a neutral corner, dusts off Hattons gloves.

We can also assume that unless hattons face falls off it wont be getting stopped on a cut.

We can also assume that hatton will be allowed to the pull Tackies head down to make it easier to unleash the body shots should he decide to do so..

who is the ref by the way????

I think Hatton Ud, but Hatton is almost certain to be cut by Tackie's head in my mind. Hard to pick, Tackie's good and Hatton is easy to hit, His chin is going to be tested big time.

I'm not knocking the fight but I expect Hatton to take a wide UD. Can't see him dropping more than a couple of rounds. Tackie bangs though so it wil remain interesting to the end.

It must be noted, that Tackie does indeed carry his punch power to the last round, he's built from mahogany that chap, even Tszyu didn't try mixing it up.

I think that hatton will be asked some very serious questions, and if he can anwser them, then great, if not, then hatton i feel could be Ko'ed

The problem when predicting this fight, is that there are lots of ?? on hatton, we already know tackies weaknesses, the question is, can ricky exploit them.

A very bloody Hatton by a couple of rounds.
Im not at all 100% about this though, i would not be at all supprised to see Tackie take it.

Well i just hope Hatton looks a damn sight better than he looked ringside at Arthur vs Gomez.

I thought he was stepping up to have a crack at Toney!

Hatton on points, but he's going to get hurt at some point I think. Tackie could well pull off another shocker if Ricky gets it wrong.

When exactly was the last time Hatton has been on tv or had his photo in the papers? last I was was the Gomez Arthur fight and he did indeed look like a bit of a bunter, just want to know how quickly he'll have drained the weight by fight time.

Really am not sure about this one. I think Hatton's work rate will be too much for Tackie - however the Ghanian is teak tough and always dangerous. Hatton, in the past, has had momentary lapses in concentration and in his too biggest contests he was severley hurt during these periods.

Well for me, Tackie is the hardest puncher Ricky has faced. He's flatterned the usually durable Teddy Reid (who's beaten Magee, without getting hurt). He also flatterned a younger Pendleton inside a round. He's also shown some decent skills with points wins over the likes of Oliveria and Golden Johnson who are both still fringe world class.

So the main predictement I see is whether Hatton will go down and stay down if he loses his focus this time - Tackie hits harder than Phillips (IMO). I'm just thinking that he'll recover (the hometown support will help him) and he'll come through.

Hatton UD 12.

He's undoubtedly Hatton's stiffest test - I'm surprise there aren't any guys going for him.
