With the Woods fight being on later are we likely to see the fight or is Setanta 2 going to restrict access one the shit Motor Racing is finished???

It will be restricted. Before I had Setanta I could get some of the programs but nothing decent.

this is absolutely ridiculous if this is what I think.

Does this mean that if you have opted for the "free Setanta" deal (by for instance subscribing to Sky Sports XL package via Virgin), that you DON'T get full access?

I think rather you can get some of the Setanta programs free but not the premium sports i.e. football, boxing etc.

I have a Daewoo Freeview box but i don't think it has the requisite card slot, so no fight for me :(

Theres another box where you get all sky and Virgin channels free but I forget what It Is. It's like 45 quid for the box and thats It but It's shite and can freeze easily.

Decent enough though.

Virgin also send software codes down the cables from time to time which knocks out the premium channels - Then the guy who sold you the doctored freeview box becomes unavailable - Chipped Telewest, NTL boxes are a better option than boxes that work via software, so I am told anyway - I am paying full wack but still get freezeups.

I could never pay that sort of money for sky packages, But then I am lucky enough to be able to get cable and digital on chipped boxes....
