Howard Daly won!

A good result for a guy with no ring experience!

Did anyone see it?

Howard Daley

Post by lsg »

Bruising fight . Daley had his bottom two front teth ripped clean out. Many felt the decision to him was generous. Spoke to the Ref afterwards who said Daley was busier and landed more shots.I wouldn't argue but he deffo looked in a right state after the fight though.

Still, well done Howard and congrats on your winning debut

bit embarrassing when someone with no amatuer experience can beat an experienced pro with i presume some amatuer backgound

thats why pro boxing pisses me off

bullshit sometimes, is it still a sport??????????????

From Howard

Post by demolitiondaley »

Thanks for the post guys. Yes it was a brutal fight I lost 3 teeth in total and my bottom lip was twice its normal size. I had lumps on lumps. My experience is i've had 7 exhibition bouts which were not sanctioned and took place in working mens clubs wearing headguards and 16oz gloves W3 L2 D2 but got better with every fight and avenged both losses. They were billed as exhibitions but there were no pulled punches.
My fitness and determination won me the fight on friday and a good chin. Ingleby is a worthy opponent with 24 fights under his belt. I'm fighting again on the 19th of October all being well in Doncaster on a SKY TV bill against 3-0-0 Dean O'loughlin. Will be another good one to watch I promise. See you soon hopefullyand thanks again.

Totally outclassed - Obviously a tough guy but against Dolan with a good amateur background and some pro experiance as well he was well out of his depth.

I thougt that was very bad matchmaking on behalf of Howard, Dolan is an accomplished boxer with ABA titles, commonwealth games gold medals and over a 100 amateur bouts.

I hope Howard gets an easier assignment next time, I hope he doesn't give it up :TU:

the matchmaker needs shooting. Who was it?

If they were amateurs Howard wouldn't have even been matched against Nolan on a club show

The last thing a fighter of Daley's experience needs is a 'brave' manager/match maker.

He should be in with fellow novices - not decorated amateurs!

He was bait for the big fish, an opponent to pad out Dolans pro record.
