Macca-Darnell "Ding-a-Ling" Wilson in Nov?

yeah, it seems Jensen turned the title shot down and that Steve Cunningham is ducking Macca - Big Mac's "disappointed" that Cunny is fighting his mandatory Huck! And Warren says in his column that Haye has avoided Enzo, instead taking a fight with some guy called Mormeck, LOL

Sounds like it should be a good fight and judging from some of the comments (Emiles esp) on here Darnell has the necessary attributes to cause Enzo some problems.

It's a reasonable enough fight, after all Enzo has been in some almighty bad mismatches. Heinichen, Gunn, La Montagne etc it could have been a hell of a lot worse. Wilson has a chance with his power but i see Enzo boxing his head off, Enzo can dig too so Wilson may find that beard severly tested.

As has been said, Wilson is lower top 10. If Macca has real ambition, the kid gloves are off forever now and at the very least, he should be fighting guys like Wilson.

I think Wilson's about 6 or 7 in the WBO so it's a decent fight. Wouldn't mind seeing Macca-Herbie Hide. Herbie's WBO #10 right now and if HH can make something of himself ie with a KO of Fragomeni perhaps that would be a real curio. Let's face it, we'd all be compelled to see it, no?

“Who the hell has he ever beaten?” asked an annoyed Duva. “Outside of a decision over Wayne Braithwaite, his opponent list is like a graveyard. The “Ding-a-Ling Man” is one of the top challengers in the world. He’s fought and beaten many of the world’s best 200-lb fighters and always in spectacular fashion. Maccarinelli has a lot of proving left to do before he can start talking about who is worthy of facing him. Darnell Wilson would be going into this fight as one of the hottest fighters in the entire sport. Duva says he’s yet to hear from Maccarinelli’s people, but is hopeful their man has the “champion’s mentality” to take on the most worthy challengers. “He (Maccarinelli) has said in the past that he’s looking to fight the best. Well, the Ding-a-Ling Man is calling him out right now. Is he going to act like a champion or continue the silly talk while avoiding him?
