I remember a fighter in my camp had a fight in Tenerife not long before xmas and spent his money before he got home, so he squeezed another one in, in Belfast just before Yuletide.
However he got drunk, was in a rush for his morning flight and left his purse(cash) in the room.
2 fights just before xmas and not a penny 2 show for it!

Remember the story of Herbie Hide stashing a good few grand in a upwards facing light shade??
Needless to say the hot bulb 'smoked' his dough.

I'm not surprised. It seems to be quite common amongst Middleweight Title challengers.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=k ... &type=lgns

That extended beating from Hagler must have affected him more than anyone realised..KO Artist wrote:I'm not surprised. It seems to be quite common amongst Middleweight Title challengers.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=k ... &type=lgns
