Check out the first story on the news section over on here/boxing central - concerning Jorge Paez.

Anyone else spot the mistake.

Also it seems like one journo there is liking the writings of McCoy alot. Check out his article concerning Hare.

What was the mistake, Stu? Couldn't spot it (was it the 'tonight' bit).

Here's the article in question.

http://www.boxing-central.com/modules.p ... e&sid=3281

Here's the line in question.

"Paez prevailed in a split decision with all cards reading 96-94"

Read a different (but similar article) it said that two of the cards scored it 96-94, it didn't say what the other card read.

Hope you noticed that article in the latest news section over here entitled "Bad Hare Day" aswell.

As McCoy would say, some cats have no individuality.

I for one will be appropriating McCoy's excellent 'Bad Hare Day', or at least would have done had someone else not already used it.

Writers appropriate things from all over the place, well, i do at least, film references, other writers, books, famous sayings, it goes with theterritory.
As for actually lifting parts of other peoples articles, that's just plain plagiarism and would not condone that at all.

It must also be noted, that 'Bad Hare day' is a very obvious tag line, it's not like it's wildly original, it's very funny, but it's not like nobody else is going to think of it.
