mismatch for November

Post by Grant »

Ranee Gonoy #10 Vs Somachi Nakballe # 203

What do the paying public have to look forward to for this fight?

I know fighters must take fights sometimes but do they really think we will pay to see them whilst there are opportunities to see better matches?

I just had a look at Leo Young (snr) record and noticed he lost his last 5 fights. Then I had a look at the calibre of fighter and realised that aussies weren't afraid to risk there ratings back then.

I have an idea. Instead of the usual suspects why not put Rannee in against 'wild thing' or even a rematch with Robbie?

Wild thing still hasn't woken up from being smashed by Ganoy.

I'm sure Luxford would not take this fight

Luxford's loss to Ganoy was two years ago. Luxford has not lost since then. Nakbalee has to fight Onikeke before he fights Ganoy. That could change everything.

I agree there are some good fights to be made, Ganoy Vs Cottrill or a rematch with the wildthing.

By the way, Nakbalee's first pro fight was a win over Ganoy. He is also a former PABA Champion.

yeah I agree Luxford has improved since then.

Anyway i like to see close fighters with well matched opponents.....

I guess we don't have the depth that we once had but resources like boxrec hammer home the differences between some of the fighters that are bought out here.

I whinge about these mismatches as much as anyone but as someone in another post said at least these guys make fights and keep the sport going. If these blokes didn't come out here we would have half the fights we have now and that can't be a good thing.
