Well, in much the same way as many posters enjoyed Harrison's fall from grace.

I will enjoy the bandwagon crashing down. Some may enjoy it too as Allegedly would suffer a large monetary crash - so perhaps the schadenfraude is directed at Allegedly also.

THat he's BRitish shouldn't guarantee support either....

Khan looked good but Lawton offered little, a bit like a rabbit in the headlights and too similar to Stefy Bull. Khan said afterwards something along the lines of "If i'm going to be world champion then these are the type of fights i need". I beg to differ.

If he is to be a world champion anytime soon then he needs to move through British, Commonwealth, European, Fringe World and up to World Class in 5 fights? It's nee impossible. Lawton was a decent opponent for this stage of his career but not if he has such lofty title aspirations. Thaxton, Earl, Meager next at a bare minimum.

He needs to calm down and focus on the British title and a fight with Earl next would be my move. Earl is experienced, a name and has a win over Romanov but is punchy and has had his day. Then Thaxton who looked beatable on Friday by Stewart, it's a fight Khan can win and raise his credentials.

I don't know the anti Khan thing from boxing fans reminds me of the kids who like a type of music but fall out with a band when they become popular cos they like the music being the preserve of them and other musos. He is good for the sport and therefore his sucess brings in more boxing fans casual fans will also have the chance to appriciate good undercard fights if they tune in to watch Khan, a mate of mine was asking me who I thought won the Femintola fight in the pub for example.

I don't like Warren and think he mannages fighters to make money and not for the good of the sport but I would get considerably more pleasure from Khan doing a Hatton winning a world title then jumping ship that would be funny

Yes of course talk of him winning a genuine world title belt in 5 fights seems ludicrous, unless he manages to move through the next two or three levels he needs to with frankly indecent haste. It's not quite impossible, but it seems highly implausible right now.

Romanov is defending against Zoff soon.

Romanov is, I think the fight at the weekend was a step backwards from Limond in class. I agree, he has to step it up if he is to be what he thinks he can be. I'd like to see Earl next, he should be able to beat Earl and Thaxton back to back if he is to be the "World Champion" he believes he can be and then go for the European title.

I know the girl in that chippy. If you asked her to deep fry your Mars Bar you would have ended-up knee deep

The thing I wonder about is the fighter who won't run. You're right about his tendency to fall in behind attacks, which only works when the other guy gives way. Earl would hold his ground a lot more than any previous opponent, and that changes everything for me.
