how were the GCSE's Albert? Did you get the F grade you were optimisticly aiming for?

i remember reading a good feature on Femi in BN, he had it hard so it's good to see him turn his life around like this.

sounds like a good little domestic scrap. rematch?

I had Bell winning it to be honest, but it was a good fight and I was pleased with how he reacted. Obviously gutted but great sportsmanship and I'm sure - with Arnie in his corner - he will learn from it and come back stronger.

Would have liked to have seen Femi in with Gomez before he accepted the Johnansson fight. Would have been a good test for Gomez and probably a war becuase both of them would go at it without Femi having the power to hurt Gomez.

Thought the decision was tight, not too controversial IMO. Personally, I would have gone with Bell but Howard Foster saw it different so that's that..

The decision was not dodgy, but the shoes that Hobson was wearing definately were.

I only saw the highlights on ITV but Femi looked like he was digging deep and really wanted it, fair play to him. I agree with Oliver i like him too, neat boxer who makes the most of his assets despite lacking a dig, Femi has found his level but maybe Bell has too. If only he could hit a bit harder, even though the Johanneson loss was a whitewash in the end Femi had his moments (didn't he win the 2nd?!) with the jab and movement. In the end it came down to power and Johanneson's body shots making the difference.

Really thought Femi looked the stronger in the fight and deserved his win - how Rhino can say Bell landed the cleaner shots throughout the fight is beyond me - but there again he only comments on boxrect to make as he put it Spud combust!!!

I think the fight was good and I would love to see a rematch both of them worked hard to win it and femi just about shaded it on the rounds I saw.

Yes, when Femi was on the floor Bell was in control. The fight was close, could have gone either way. I don't want to harp on about your biasness - but it it was Bell's arm raised at the end, would you have said that this was just a typical home promotion decision? Meager vs Hunt was close but I remember you harping on about that being a hometown decision.

The fight was close, being that there was a winner than some will obviously see it as controvesial.

In indeed Bell had his arm raised I would have been a tadge annoyed but hindsight being a wonderful thing I simply would have had to ackowledge the fight was very close indeed.

I scored the fight by 2 rounds to Femi - the Ref had it by 1.

What dig? So you wouldn't have thought it a home promotion decision had Bell won? Some people thought Bell won, some people thought Femi won end of.. it was close. You have a connection with Femi and obviously want him to do well - nowt wrong with that.

John Simpson vs Dazzo Williams, Earl vs Vanzie II were certainly far worst calls IMO. Simpson vs Williams especially, in know of a few guys who at least "made a case" for Hunt, some even thought the decision was just - yes, more thought Meager won no doubt. However, I don't know anyone who could even make a case for Williams - it was a boxing lesson.

No I would not have thought it was a "home" decision if Bell had won - I have already stated I thought the fight was a very close one to call - but at the sametime I thought the right person got the decision.

With regards to the hinsight question - sometimes it is always best watching a fight a 2nd time with the volume off - then you are making your own decision!!!

One of the worst things I have seen at boxing and I simply cannot get my head around is - one of the judges sits right smack in the middle of TV and radio!!!
