Until this Saturday, everybody thought Eric Boose was gonna be the guy to beat me in the Northwest, but he was KOed by my former rival, Jonathan Williams, in 3 rounds.
In the win, Jon won the NorthWest Boxing Association (NWBA) Heavyweight title.
The fight was held at the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, Washington. With Jon being from there, and me selling out everytime I have fought there, and with the us being tied up at 1-1-1 and each holding the 2 major titles in the Northwest, this fight will be huge.
I have already spoken with the promoter, Bennie Georgino, and he has asked for this fight to happen February 9. The problem is that he feels the venue isn't big enough, so he is looking into setting up a tent for the fight, as the casino only has a 1200 seat capacity.
I guess the point of this topic has nothing to do with all of that for th emost part, but one thing. The ratings have Jon Williams listed as a crusierweight, but he is a heavyweight, as he weighed 204lbs and won a heavyweight title.
