BoxRec’s source is the California State Commission.
The easiest way to effect change would be to contact
Commission and ask them to send us the supervisor
show reports with the correct spelling
for his last two
fights at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, CA.

damn thats a lot of work for a boxrec name change aint it, i had a persons age changed with lesser problems. i am not trying to be an ass or anything but, would it be that much trouble to make correction of his name without me having to go to dean lohas and bugging him about a little thing.

I am willing to do it, its just he just hates being bothered with things like that. So if it is at all possible for u to change it please do. If not i will have Dean send out a letter when he can.

thank you

Sorry about the inconvenient bureaucratic delay but;
At the 2004 ABC convention in Charlotte, SC, “official record keeper”
Anibal Mirramontes of FightFax complained to the ABC that BoxRec
was using information from boxers, managers, promoters etc. on site.

The theme was that information from those who are involved in the
boxing business should not trusted because of a “conflict of interest”.

In order to receive official results from commissions, BoxRec made
agreement with the ABC to lock a commission report once received,
and not to change the locked information, unless a new addendum is
received from them.

Perfectly understood, I will have the commissioner send a letter to boxrec after his next fight on November 2nd.

Thanks You for Your Time
