Anyone go to Spencer Fearon's show on Tuesday?

Two bouts under the Cityboxer banner. Daniel Thorpe scored a stoppage!! The show looked well organised. John Conteh, Charlie Magri, Lloyd Honeyghan & Steve Collins showed up. Collins looked like he could fight tomorrow - looked in good shape.

At £170 a ticket I think it's a resounding No !
I would have gone to watch Dan but that price was seriously over the top.

I was there. Jason Matthews was sitting just behind me, Gary Logan was MC. Ronald Mackintosh was commentating and er Danny John Jules turned up(Cat from Red Dwarf. Couple of other 'celebs' a Spurs footballer & one of the guys of the last Apprentice series. So Spencer did his job getting the faces in.

It was a good night out but it was a corporate jolly type of night rather than an alternative to a York Hall outing.

I always thought putting the Cityboxer Pro debutant in against Daniel Thorpe who's been there and done that was a big risk but i couldn't begrudge him putting one in the W column.
