Paz Viejo clocks up fight 13 for 2007

Post by AntonS »

And with a win too.
No 14 coming up in Melbourne in Novemeber. He'll probaly clock up 15/16 by the end of year.

He's had 25 fights since January 2006. Only won 5 but he don't care

Certainly a record in our region in modern times.

I've seen him a fair few times he is really bad and not at all entertaining...

15 fights, so his earnings this year would be pushing $1500...

Any promoter who has Paz on his card and gets that card televised by Fox is asking for trouble as the great Paz ensures that the viewer's remote will soon be used in earnest to flick over to another channel.

I can say i have seen 2 of Paz's 5 wins!!

Paz is a great guy, cant knock the man he'll fight on short notice and fight anyone, he fought Vai Aki on 12 hours notice lost a points decision but put up a decent fight.

Sure he aint no world beater but he makes his opponents work for their wins with his akward style!

Guys like Paz keep boxing alive, mainly coz they provide fights for up in commers

Sounds like Victorian lightweight/junior welterweight Michael Vitale from back in the 70s. Hardly ever won a fight but was always fit to fight. Finished up with a record of 4-14-4.

No idea what he is doing now.

I remember you! You beat my old gym mate Paul Bink as well as Big Jim West, the only man to beat Henry Nissen. You were a lot of fun to watch. Good luck to you, mate :TU: .
