actaully celebrated when they announced that. I punched the air and said 'yes!', luckily no one else was in the room, otherwise it would of looked really sad.

It will be a great night:

8pm-
Hatton-Tackie
Witter-Pinto
Lacy-Wiggins

22.30-
Premiership

11.55pm-
Robin Reid-Sven Ottke

1am-
Hopkins-Joppy
Mayorga-Spinks
Rahman-Ruiz
Judah-Rangel
Garcia-Simms
Braithwaite-Pineda (hopefully, didn't mention it last night)

Thats an insane night of boxing, cant wait. I'm still looking forward to the Hatton fight more than any other though

Yes, they're showing Audley's first 10-rounder on Grandstand.

"Back of the net!"

There is a God and we will have the all night marathon we deserve.
I often wonder whether it is possible to overdose on boxing - I don't think so, but this will just go to prove it...

I will be stuck in a 16th century abbey in suffolk with no sky! I was hoping they wouldn't show it so I didn't feel I was missing out.

For once the BBC's graveyard shift is a good thing. By the time we've finished watching Reid v Ottke it'll be just time to flick over to SKY for bout no.1 in Atlantic City which will be Terra Garcia.

This is awsome. Hatton - tough test. Witter - ditto. Reid - his last BIG chance. Hopkins - grudge match. Mayorga - well, it's just Mayorga. Rahman - top drawer heavyweight match.

Forget October 4th - this blows it out of the water.

When I was at Boxing News in the early 80's, I took a call from a boxing fan whose girlfriend had taped over his copy of the Pryor-Arguello classic. "What shall I do?" he asked me. "Dump her, or just learn to live with what she did?"
The guy was devastated, and genuinely wanted my opinion on his next move. I kept stuhm of course. But it was a memorable phone call.

Can't understand you bennie, surely the obvious advice was to dump her immediately?

I'm in luck, the missus is off out for a christmas bash with her friends Sat night. She was very surprised when I happily agreed to stay in and look after the kids ( who I think will defintely be needing an early night! )
I'll try to keep quiet about the boxing and insist I get a night out next week in return 8)

Did I mention there's some boxing on Saturday night?

From 1am the running order looks like this:

Off USA PPV - 3 title fights: Braithwaite, Perez & Alvarez. I think Sky will show these as they did the same on that big October bill from LA.

Then official PPV opens with the Zab Judah show, followed by
Garcia v Simms
Rahman v Ruiz
Mayorga-Spinks
Hop v Joppy

Colonel Bob whatisname is doing commentary, but we can't have everything!

Darke will be having a holiday I believe it will be Smith/Watt for Hatton vs Tackie and Witter vs Pinto (untill confirmed I am saying its on). Then Darke/Glenn for the DK bill.

Colonel Sheridan has never been broadcast on Sky (only on Setanta).

Even if it is Sheridan, this time King has got some excellent co commentator - check out the link on the boxrec news page.

I thought Colonel Bob did Sky commentary recently, with Raul Marquez. A flyweight was getting half killed in the ring and they barely noticed..

Don King is making history here and breaking his own record of six, with the most world titles ever held on one card.

Was it.... I remember Marquez (who was very good) didn't think it was Sheridan, perhaps I am wrong. Sheridan commentates for Kingvision, I didn't think it was a King Vision show.

Darky is packing his bags now, have you noticed he's been doing more football recently (Champions league). Is he doing it from a studio or is he getting more Air Miles.
