Minter V Jennings
Minter V Jennings
Is this fight taking place, at Bolton, on 8th Dec?
this beauty was tucked away only a couple months ago on a big sports network (i think) show.......never happened.
don' t know the reasons. I reckon both fighters are long enough in the tooth to just do as Mills Lane would say and get it on.
If you get beat so fcuk....what u gonna do just box people u know u can beat and hope for a title shot to crop up like another well known welterweight. Just bite the bullet innit!!
Both these fighters have taken some tricky enough fights so in this case it could just be down to bad luck that it hasn't come off yet.
I'd go Minter by the way, speed and power, over Jennings ring skills.
What do yous reckon?

I would agree that it would likely represent Minter's biggest challenge since getting KO'd by the Yank.
(although I recall him being in control for much of that fight......in fact that's why I'd favour him here if you forget about how it ended).
Jennings has been in with better fighters more often, though still concedes raw strength.

this fight has been on 2 or 3 times so far and minter has pulled out of them all.makes you think does he really want the fight.i would like to see the fight happen though as it looks a good fight on paper and i think the 2 styles will gel to make an excellent contest.i will go for jennings to take this one on a late stoppage.i last watched ross on the contender and although he was clearly winning the fight he looked fooked at the end of the last round and he cant afford to do that against someone as fit as jennings

Jennings isn't the strongest Welter, but is so, so fit I can't see how Minter couldstay with him over 12 rounds.
I'd like to see Jennings step up to Euro level now, or his best days may slip by
