Michael Steeds at Cruiser

I see he is fighting the Commonwealth champion, the Canadian Troy Ross in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at this level at 199.

Is it a last payday? As Ross looks pretty good on paper, for this level.

Anyone knows what Steeds expects from this fight?

steeds always looked soft at heavyweight, and the fact he challenged for the british title says a lot about the shit state of the domestic hw division.

if he succeeds at cruiser is dependent on his committment, fitness and heart...

he has not been in the trenches yet to test these attributes !!

Steeds is decent, but the this Canadian guy sounds more than decent.

It's on Sky so we can see for ourselves.

I fancy Ross to win this one.

that would very wise. i think Steeds needs to build up in the division, why the big rush?

I had a dream Steeds blasted out that big guy Sebastien Chabal from the French rugby union team in one round, so I thought that would be a good omen, too bad it is off.

if mark hobson isnt tied down to a promoter and is fit enough, that would be a good fight, see what level Ross is at.

Why would Hobson have retired? He has only just won his British title back. I didn't see the fight, did he say something about retiring afterwards?
