I can't see the point in Harrison taking this fight, its a no win situation. He can't really better the result last time, and anything worse he'll get slagged off.

Personally i'd have liked to see Danny push for a euro title tilt, the holder Vladimir Virchis is decent , but nothing special.

What happened to Harrison v Sprott for the English title and Skelton v Williams for the British?

I thought Virchis was Euro champ but this was on BBB of C website:

I can't see where Vichis could have got an eliminator from. I can only assume he was pulled from a fight with sasha and stripped. It's also not great for Skelton. Fair enough anything's preferable to the shit he's been a part of lately, but I can't see the Germans letting Dimitrenko travel any further than Hamburg though. Doubt Frank would remortgage the winnebago to get home advante for Matt either. It should double up as a WBO eliminator though.

As for Williams/Harrison III, well, it completes the boxset, doesn't it? Ten years time we'll have Williams/Harrison VI: Mission to Moscow.

Skelton turned down the Williams fight. Sprott-Harrison was mandated but as far as I know, is not yet under negotiation.

In any case, this article is only about what Danny wants, not what is actually happening.

On a side note, it's about time Dimitrenko was stepped up. Even though his level of competition is better than Greenberg and a string of other no-mark prospects at least he was getting tested. You can only fight the Malcom Tann's of this world for so long though.

I am not so sure he has the bottle to get into the trenches with Mr. Skelton if they fought either. He has skills but has been in the comfort zone for a while, Skelton would make it a rugged maul. Interesting one.

Im probably in the minority but i wouldnt mind seeing Williams-Harrison 3. In fact id probably be really looking forward to it if it was happening.
This time it really would be the last chance for both men and they would know it.

Audley cant afford to fvck around fighting the likes of Paul King tho, he's gotta do a job on Williams as impressively as he did last time then Hobsons gotta get him straight into a European fight regardless of whos champ. Time was never on his side so 6 years after his debut EVERY fight has to count to gettin him further up the ladder.

Of course it wont happen that that and we'll have this merry go round for another year or 2, unless David Haye decides to clear up domestically before he shows them all how easy it is to win a world title these days.

Harrison said he had problems after he beat Williams & now Williams claims he had problems after the defeat, despite saying he was fine before the fight.
