Hatton - Tackie Offical Prediction Thread

Post by The_Power »

although touched upon in other threads, we can't have a WBU title defense without a Prediction thread!!!

So who is your money on?

And No sitting on the fence!!!

i am going with the Tackie Upset, as i cant honestly see Hattons style playing right into tackies hands.

I'm going for Hatton points. (just about)
Hatton has shown against Magee that if he tastes a punch and doesn't like it, he can box all night rather than stand and trade.
Thats how Tackie's been beaten before. I think thats how he'll be beaten again.

Going on past performances, it's really a 50/50 fight in my mind.
Both play into each other’s strength & style.
The big question in my mind is Tackie's mental state after the clear whippings by Tszyu & Mitchell. :-?

But hey, U stated no fence sitting... :o
Since Hatton is wide open and telegraphs his punches,
I think Tackie will cut him up for a late stoppage.
I just hope Micky Vann isn't the referee.

Hatton KO :)

I've either got it very wrong about Hatton, or very right. We'll find out soon enough.

Tackie by KO9

Providing Tackie does not come over only 3 or 4 days before the fight.

Hatton should not have taken this fight.

He should have fought Witter first

I predict Hatton by an iffy unanimous decision.
Mind you if Tackie beats the fornicate out of him I won't be at all surprised.

I have thought long and hard about this fight.

I have considered styles, strengths and weaknesses of both fighters.

I have analysed their records and performances.

I have considered whether they are both hungry.

IF BEN TACKIE COMES OVER TO ENGLAND MORE THAN A WEEK BEFORE THE FIGHT HE WILL WIN BY KO.

GET YOUR MONEY ON TACKIE, HE WILL WIN BY KO

I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF TACKIE PULLS OUT WITH A MYSTERY ILLNESS.

HATTON IS MADE FOR TACKIE.

right- bookies later, double bet on pinto/tackie.

what odds do you all reckon i'll get?? (bearing in mind only result paying out is if BOTH pinto and tackie win).

I'm going for Hatton UD.

Should be an up n downer and RH might even put him down....if Mitchell can then RH should have a decent chance. Its gonna be interesting though because zoo and Mitchell (his 2 most recent defeats) outboxed him for a lot of the time and didn't trade as openly as I expect RH to do. This gives Tackie a few opportunities to land his right.

I'll take that assessment.

Basically its a case of Tackie having one stle and Hatton having more options.
