WBO Super Middleweight belt.

It's been reported that Joe Calzaghe will begin 2004 as a Light Heavyweight, so I don't know what will happen to his belt.

I certainly would be interested to see how the undefeated #1 contendor whathisface take on the known commodity and #2 ranked Charles Brewer. Infact with Calzaghe ilness should this fight be made for the interim belt regardless of Calzaghe's decision.

If this Mger fella beats Brewer then that makes a possible match up with Calzaghe all the more appealing to the hardcore boxing fraternity.

i heard that one of the reasons the Mger fight didnt happen was due to his weight!!!

Is that confirmed, I though Joe said he was unlikely to fight him now, because he is not a name. I thought 2004 was going to his year, in my opnion I would rather see Joe in with a name fighter.

I suppose the WBO must have forced the issue this time.

If you listen to one of those interview things on allegedly's website, Warren says that Calzaghe will fight his mandatory on the 28th Feb

Frankie boy also said the Same thing after the Enzo fight.
He said Enzo will fight again in Feb as support for the re-arranged Calzaghe fight.

Good question, Joe will be looking for Branco or Gonzalez next summer so the WBO will be up for grabs. Warren would want to keep the belt in his stable, will we see Antony Farnell as the next WBO Super Middle Champion?
