I know sometimes we misunderstand just how big the gulf is from stand out British class, Johannson, Hunter, Danny Williams, Eastman etc to true, true world class but I'm not sure Abraham is the all conquering killer everyone is painting him as. He aint likely to take Elcock's head off is he? He's not likely to be unhittable is he? Elcock will be in the fight. Sure he may well lose, odds on he will, but lets keep a balance. As much as the IBF may be over-stating Elcocks standing by accepting him, we're AS guilty of portraying Abraham as a all time great.
Elcock is a proficient fella, has some tools and will be fit, confident with nothing to lose.
I'm just saying Abraham is in a different league to Elcock and he'll knock Elcock out. Elcock is not and never will be world class. I doubt he'd even come out on top if there was a round robin tournament with the top middleweights in Britain. It's a joke of a title defense, no two ways about it.
Abraham is milking it. His last two defenses have been crap and now this one as well.
We obviosuly can't just write him off. I've never even seen Elcock fight. Now I'm wishing Sky showed his fight vs Eastman, because it had impkications (Eastman HAD just beaten Williams, so Elcock had got a very good domestic scalp).
As has been said, Abraham AND Miranda got title shots from beating Eastman, so Elcock is following a bit of a pattern here.

Abraham beat a legit middleweight last time out, something that say Taylor hadn't been doing...In fact he blew out Taylor's mandatory with the late KO of Gevor. The fight with the Canadian was a confidence builder following the jaw surgery/repair.
