Best thing is he's Scottish!

Anyway, shouldn't it be "European sport" nowadays...

Scotland got dicked, Eire drew with Cyprus, Wales struggled to get by San Marino in football so was a pretty dire week. England need to rely on other results to go their way to qualify for Euro 08 and Scotland needs to beat Italy to book a place. Doesn't look good!

won a few quid on that, also i bet on South Africa before the cup started.
Every cloud has a silver lining.

Also you can get 6/1 on Byrd to win on points against Povetkin.
might put a bet on that.

And i'm betting on Isreal to get a draw against Russia

Hmm 6-1, that's a good bet, worth twenty quid I'd say. Byrd might have slowed a tad, but he's still a very experienced and skilled fighter, who has only lost to the best.

Overkill Terrence, just the Welsh contingent and how they're getting on would've done :TU:

Did Mo nassir go, he's pretty much our best boxer imo. Him and that young lad from merthyr (i think), boxes around Welter / lightweight - looks a right scally wag, but can box. I think he was one fo only two or three Welsh lads who were training with the British Olympic squad.

If/When are these fights being shown on the old box? Maybe BBC or Eurosport are picking them up?

I have heard he has changed his name to Abdul Haqq? Anyone know if this is true?

I suppose it's better tahn SUgar Ray Clay Jones Junior...... surely the boxing world's worst nickname. I even prefer Sugar Ball Brains Onsei Bonsu (I think that's what he calls himself....)

I am with you on that Stu... Poor old Hitman_Hatton1 is seduced by those types of fighters unfortunately, it would seem :D 8)
