Khan Should be taught a lesson
Khan Should be taught a lesson
After his recent court case, now this.
He is a menace and a danger to other road users.
Give him six months inside, teach him a lesson, he reckons he is above the law.

Amir....if you're reading this mate...stay on the straight and narrow. No human being can bring a car under control if you spin , swerve or get a blow out at 140mph, or even much slower than that.
Show some respect for yourself and those around you before someone gets hurt. Plenty of mugs out there who have done it to learn from, you don't need to wait for it to be you.

Was it a 6 series or an M6? When you have a car like that you do want to see 'what it can do'. The motorways the safest place to do that.nickd wrote:He just got a 6 month ban so no chance of a repeat. Warren should never have got him that 6 series BMW it's ridiculous a guy of his age and inexperience being behind the wheel of such a powerful car.
Would a race track not be safer?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Was it a 6 series or an M6? When you have a car like that you do want to see 'what it can do'. Bit harsh! He has been convicted, hasn't had special treatment, people are equal in law, should he more of a sentance because he is famous??KO Artist wrote:After his recent court case, now this.

140mph is not safe on any road. I think it might have been an M6.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Was it a 6 series or an M6? When you have a car like that you do want to see 'what it can do'. I've long said they need to have a minimum age limit on certain types of car a guy his age shouldn't be teararseing around in a fast car.
Maybe less than 2 litre engines until you're 25? I bet it would reduce the number of road deaths in young blokes.

They did something like that with Motorbikes, once upon a time ANYONE could buy an 1100c Bike as their first bike, some of them are no longer here.
That's a great quote nickd - I think the word you meant to spell is obviously terrorising around in a fast car but I like the way you put it better cos if u knock off the front and end of yours that spells .....arse-ingnickd wrote:140mph is not safe on any road. Tell that to the bloke from harrow who went away for doing 150mph, with no previous motoring offences, despite having driven for years.Coco wrote:Bit harsh! You could buy a powerful bike, ride it on a provisional license without supervision and then take a test - I know I did - When I was young we did chicken runs, that is to say straight through the lights - The Ace cafe on the London North Circular rd was a popular place for young bikers - We road from there to Staples corner, now Brent Cross and back without stopping - Many died including a big lad known as Flash Gordon who road a Vincent 1000, I think the biggest you could buy in those days - Crazy stuff and changing the law did help I think and I agree we should have a similar system with cars - Mind if I made the laws I wouldnt let anyone drive a powerful car, bike, get married or be able to get a mortgage until they were 25 - You need a bit of maturity for these things IMO -I wouldnt be very popular I know as most young men think they are grown up once they start shaving - I would ban Naz for life from driving anything more powerful than a moped because he was over 25 and should have known better - Lets only have people on the road who respect other road users and pedestrians - Before 1973 you could drive at any speed you liked on motorways but in those days a good family car couldnt go much above 90mph with the wind behind it downhill - The speed restriction of 70mph was introduced during the fuel crisis to stop people wasting fuel driving fast - After it was over the government then decided to keep the 70 mph limit for safety reasons which I believe was a good decision - Its alright to say get on the M6 and see what the car does but there are too many WHAT IFs and you havent got the right to put others at risk - I have been caught out at 70/80mph by traffic suddenly stopping and I expect you have also - What if I had been doing 130/140mph, I know BANG!!! - The courts need to get really tough with anyone, famous or not, and ban them for life if they have no regard for others.

Shame he can't use his car in the ring......He's bloody lethal in it!
and it'll give some good jaw protection too
I thought he got of lightly with the 6 months ban. He got charged of careless driving not dangerous driving.
He over took vehicles in the wrong lane just before traffic lights. He was speeding and he went though a red light. He knocked some guy over. Could have killed him. He was lucky to get away with just a borken leg.
How is that not dangerous driving?
Now he does twice the legal speed limit on the motorway. As someone said. Some guy got put away for driving at 150. The difference is. He didn't nearly kill someone. If the justice system is fair in the country. Khan should have to do time.

Even a 1.4 litre engine will do well over a hundred these days?NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:That's a great quote nickd - I think the word you meant to spell is obviously terrorising around in a fast car but I like the way you put it better cos if u knock off the front and end of yours that spells .....arse-ingnickd wrote:140mph is not safe on any road. How about they limit the speed of cards to 100? It will never happen of course, but what possible rationale is there for having a car that does 160 mph, when our speed limit is 70, it's insane.
