Post by Old bones Ian »

Ben Crampton is fighting Darren Barker for the Commonwealth title in a few weeks, and i wanted to know what the Aussies thought of Crampton, what style he fights in?

barker & crampton both have good records which look padded. barkers boxrec info on his opponents has more red than the blood bank and crampton has hardly had a career bursting with activity. This one looks like a lottery bet with the hometown advantage to favour barker.

Crampton will win!

THe fights not being telecast in aussie, unless you can get sky. I think the UK guys only get that channel, the one the clubs get is sky racing which isnt the same channel, i think there is a sky sports.

The only other way to get the fight is to download it from a torrent site after the fight has finished, i dnt think it will be on aussie TV for some time.

I also watched barkers vs the 1-3 kid, he looked good but anyone would look good against an opponent with such a poor record like that. One thing i did find amusing about Barker is that he packed his bags & went home early from sparring with Kessler, i guess Kessler was hurting him too much. :box:
