Mundine being ahead on the score card when the fight ended is one of the biggest myths going around. He was behind and he had gassed so he would have lost the last couple of rounds anyway, not that it mattered seeing as he got KTFO by a guy he said punched like a girl...

Matt great first post you really know your stuff, they are actually the only ones with morals, there is a strict policy whi can fight and they turn down more fights than they make on ethical grounds.

Green has only had 3 fights with creditible top fighters, being said he lost 2 of those fights for 1 win. Clearly being outpointed in 2 of them makes me think this fight with Tarver could endup being a mismatch?
Hope Green wins but his record doesnt lie.....

Convict, you caught my attention with your last post. I take it you mean Beyer (twice), Lucas and Mundine as the three fights/fighters? When you look at the 3 losses and 1 win individually, albeit from a potentially biased point of view, they read as follows -
1)Beyer (1) - Every Australian fight fan knows that this was a loss only because Danny lost his patience (beyer legitimately KD’ed in 1 & 2). Danny has since matured, and I doubt would make the same mistake again.
2)Lucas – Danny made him quit. I remember watching the fight and Lucas looked at his corner and gave up. Remember this was for a world title (o.k it was an interim)
3)Beyer (2) – Danny was outpointed (just, it was an MD), but still managed to KD Beyer in the last.
4)Mundine – Clearly outboxed, but does anyone think he was at his best by this stage at SMW, suffering to make weight?
I think Tarver is an excellent fighter, his record proves it, and Danny is going to have his work cut-out for him. But if this is a miss-match I’ll be very surprised. Go Danny!

Yeah look, Im a fan of Green and Mundine, Its just that one fights bums and the other always has bad days in title fights ?, My last comment probally was abit stabbie towards Green, I just feel he seems to choke hard when it comes to big fights and it pisses me right off as i belive he could do better. Untill he beats Tarver then i will go choke on my on words

According to the Boxrec comment on the fight, Mundine was ahead on points when he was KOed by Ottke.

I didn't make it up, take it up with the convenor.

wont be confusig in a day or 2 when gary admits he has nothing signed by Green

We loved him here in America after the first Beyer fight and the Eric Lucas kayo. but then we got to know him. He's about as important as our toilet leftovers.
